Christine O'Donnell: A Republican mistake

When Christine O'Donnell shocked the country in September by defeating Rep. Mike Castle in the primary election, the American people made a profound statement: that they were fed up with the government spending, the lack of jobs that were being created and so on.  What they were uncertain about was how she was going to perform in the general election with so much criticism from the liberal media and her Democrat opponent, Chris Coons, a.k.a the Bearded Marxist.

After running an unsuccessful campaign, O'Donnell is now under a federal investigation for misusing campaign funds.  This was first reported by the Associated Press on Tuesday.

O'Donnell has denied any wrongdoing.  The former Senator-elect has been reportedly used some of these funds for personal expenses and rent, while leaving her workers "unpaid and in a pile of debt," according to one GOP source.

Even though electing Christine O'Donnell to represent the Republican Party was a mistake,  Republicans still will maintain an overall majority in Congress when the 112th session begins on January 5th.
